Perfect The Way You Are Pizza

If you have ever wondered what the "raw foodie" people eat here is an excellent example. Cyndi and I had lunch delivered today from Living Food Lunch. It consisted of a beautiful spring salad and a "pizza" with a decadent chocolate covered coconut treat with a raw almond on top. The "pizza" was on a buckwheat and ground nut crust with sun dried tomato spread, avocado, greens, dehydrated onions, sun dried olives, mushrooms, hemp seed, herb cashew cheeze, micro and rainbow sprouts. Yum!

Frisbee Lessons

We all tried our hand at a little Frisbee throwing at the park after we had corralled about a million pollywog's. Mom showed how young she really is by joining in and reaching for the high ones the boys tossed her way.

Spencer and Grannie Louise

Spencer loves birthdays even when it isn't his own. He loved singing Happy Birthday to his Grannie and seeing her birthday cards.

Louise's Birthday Fun

We had a Belgium waffle breakfast for Mom for her 82nd birthday then went to a park close by to hunt for Pollywogs. Spencer had never seen them before so we wanted to get a few to take home to our Koi pond. Spencer enjoyed hunting for the "Hollywogs" as he decided they should be named. Not sure who enjoyed this part of the day the most as Cyndi and Dave had to have turns catching the little tadpoles.

Raw Food Booth

The apple pie looked so good, would you believe everything at this booth was raw? The people that make this type of food have special ways of preparing the food and having eaten quite a bit of it I can tell you it taste wonderful.

San Francisco for Phyllis' Birthday

We went to SF for my birthday week end and to see the highly acclaimed "Wicked" the alternate story of The Wizard of OZ. We always enjoy the SF Farmer's Market on Sat. at the Embacadero (not to be confused with Fisherman's Warf area). The abundance of organic produce, dairy, cheese, meat and baked goods is almost overwhelming. We sampled and sipped and enjoyed the amazing warm Spring weather.

Carefree

Spencer loved running through the water, kicking up his heels and letting the wind blow through his mane. He told me later he was having "a bad hair day".
